Over the course of 3 days, you’ll get 4 hour and a half lessons plus use of a surf board, wetsuit and booties. We also provide all meals, starting with dinner on the first day and ending with lunch on the last day. The cost of your surf camp does not include accommodations or transportation to the coast.
You’ll leave Surf Camp with an understanding of water safety, the dos and don’ts of surf etiquette, proper paddling technique and wave knowledge.
Our surf lessons take place in small breaks in shallow water. Being comfortable in the ocean and in reasonably good shape is helpful — but people of all sizes, shapes and swimming abilities can learn to surf.
Our surf camps cost $525 per person. Participants can pay in full at registration — or put down a $200 deposit (with the remainder due two weeks before the start of camp).
Surf Camp is open to anyone age 12 or older.
Kids who are 12 and older are welcome to register for our camps. Kids that are too young to attend, are welcome to accompany you to the coast as long as you have someone to watch them during your lessons and they are not disruptive to other campers’ surf camp experience. Arranging for childcare is your sole responsibility.
Friendly dogs are welcome at Surf Camp as long as their care or behavior does not disrupt surf lessons or other campers’ surf camp experience. Please ensure that your accommodations allow pets.
Our surf camps take place at the beaches surrounding the Hobuck Beach Resort in Neah Bay. The resort has a selection of cabins and tent camping. Cabins can sleep between a maximum of four and six people and start at $150 per night. Tent camping is $20 per night. You are responsible for securing your own lodging prior to the start of your surf camp. Click here to make your reservation at Hobuck Beach Resort
Each of our Surf Camp menus include vegetarian options. If you require vegan meals, please call us prior to your Surf Camp so we can discuss your food options.
We provide surf boards, full wetsuits, booties and gloves for all participants during camp. To ensure that everything fits, it’s best to come into the shop prior to camp and be properly fitted.
Clothes, bathing suits, and sunscreen are the main necessities. Keep in mind that Washington coast weather has many faces — and it’s best to be prepared for all of them.
We accept all major credit cards and electronic funds transfer via PayPal. If you to prefer to pay with a check or cash, please call us at 206.387.9054.
Surf Camp attendees can pay the full $525 at registration or pay a $200 deposit (with the remainder due two weeks prior to the start of camp).
As long as you cancel within two weeks prior to your camp date, we will provide a full refund.
